Changing the theme of ASEAN Resource Centre (ARC)
The ASEAN Resource Centre of Myanmar changed its theme from the former one of “ASEAN Resource Centre for Training of Trainers for Civil Service ” into the new one of “ASEAN Resource Centre for Public Service Motivation” because of people-centred approach for civil service reform process, being invalid situation with the current status of the State’s policies, objectives and processes concerned with civil service personnel and reform process, being in the state of lack of funding, availability of pool of qualified experts and personnel to be able to conduct the training programmes only for trainers of the two Central Institutes of Civil Service as well as the condition to be changed the theme like other ASEAN members.
The updated themes of respective ARC established in each ASEAN members are expressed as follows in compared with their former ones:
