Duties and Functions of Research, Training and Archive Division

Duties and functions of Division (3), Research, Training and ArchiveDivision, are as follows:

(a) Conducting research for the improvement of civil service matters and training programmes

(b) Supporting for the process of coordination and cooperation with international organizations in terms of civil service matters

(c) Exploring ways of enhancing the capacity of civil service personnel

(d) Contributing subject matters related to the civil service matters and management at the training courses conducted by the ministries and organizations

(e) Compiling lists of removal and dismissal of the civil service personnel from concerned ministries and organizations within financial year in order to submit to the Board Meeting 

(f) Compiling annual report of findings upon the lists of removal and dismissal of the civil service personnel from concerned ministries and organizations with the decision of the Union Civil Service Board in order to provide them to the State Administration Council Office and Union Government Office in time

(g) Scrutinizing whether the advertisements for of staff at the entry post of the concerned ministries and organizations in newspapers are aligned with Civil Service Personnel law and Rules

(h) Supervising the process for the publications concerned with civil service matters like civil service journal in order to enrich their knowledge and concepts

 (i) Undertaking continuously to the research activities and training programmes in terms of civil service personnel
