Introduction
Under the guidance of the Union Civil Service Board (UCSB), Civil Service Affairs Department is formulating regulatory law and rules, providing advice and conducting research concerned with civil service personnel, undertaking the processes for the code of conduct, policies, disciplines, orders, directives and procedures in align with the stipulations in Civil Service Personnel Law and Rules, providing comments on civil service affairs cases inquired by the Ministries and Organizations, providing approval for civil service personnel who is serving with Foreign Service Term (FST) with regards to the stipulations in Civil Service Personnel Rules, providing lists of removal and dismissal of civil service personnel to the State Administration Council and Union Government Office every financial year, delivering lectures on matters related to civil service personnel in the courses conducted by the concerned Ministries and Organizations, conducting necessary researches related to civil service matters and maintaining their records systematically in order to support administrative mechanism of the state, undertaking internal procedures to be inserted necessary data into each software involved in the e-Recruitment and Integrated Civil Service System (ERICSS)implemented by the Union Civil Service Board.
